ANDREA CERVETTO

Producer and arranger, Andrea Cervetto began his career collaborating with some of the greatest Italian orchestras and recording numerous albums. After a period in the United States, where he played and recorded with artists like Lara Saint Paul and Patty LaBelle, he returned to Italy to perform with the New Trolls and to found the band “EXTRA.” Since 2000, he has worked as a session musician, arranger, and producer with the “Bips” studios in Milan.
In 2009, Brian May personally chose him for the musical “We Will Rock You,” marking the start of a long collaboration. Andrea has produced and arranged albums for artists such as Bernardo Lanzetti and participated in prestigious events like “The Night Of The Guitar.” Since 2014, he has been an international official endorser for Yamaha and Line 6. In 2021, he released “Horizon,” his second album of original material. In 2023, he collaborated with Jack Sonni (former Dire Straits) and Phil Palmer on a new music project.
ALEX POLIFRONE
DRUMS & VOCALS
Alex began his musical journey studying piano before continuing with classical percussion at the Conservatory of Cosenza. At the age of 20, he moved to Milan, where he honed his drumming skills at CPM under the guidance of Walter Calloni. Since 2001, he has been the drummer for “Il Mito New Trolls,” performing in numerous concerts across Italy and participating in various television shows.
In 2009, he was selected by Brian May and Roger Taylor as the drummer for the musical “We Will Rock You,” taking part in a two-year-long tour. His career continued with tours and collaborations with Italian artists such as Roby Facchinetti and Enrico Ruggeri, and internationally with musicians like Trevor Horn, Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), and Alan Clark (Dire Straits). Alex is an endorser for Yamaha, UFIP, Evans, and Promark.
PAOLO POLIFRONE
BASS GUITARS & VOCALS
Active in the music scene since 1999, Paolo Polifrone studied classical double bass at the Civica Scuola di Musica di Villa Simonetta in Milan, under the guidance of Maestro Paolo Rizzi (Teatro alla Scala). Since 2007, he has worked on numerous television productions for Rai, Sky, and Mediaset, collaborating with nationally and internationally renowned artists.
He has participated in highly successful tours, performing in sports arenas and stadiums with Ultimo, and sharing the stage with artists like Loredana Bertè, Andrea Pucci, Pago, New Trolls, Dolcenera, and Iva Zanicchi. Paolo is also a stable member of the CM Orchestra, with which he has collaborated with artists such as Tony Hadley, Mario Biondi, Antonella Ruggiero, and Nina Zilli. Since 2013, he has been a teacher of electric bass and ensemble music at the Accademia Musicale Capriolo (BS). He is also an endorser for Yamaha and Line 6.
PAOLO ZANETTI
GUITARS & VOCALS
A professional musician who graduated from CPM in Milan in 1999, Paolo Zanetti is an experienced guitarist. He has participated in “La Notte delle Chitarre” since its first edition, playing alongside artists such as Maurizio Solieri, Stef Burns, Ricky Portera, Cesareo, and Luca Colombo. He has toured Italy with Irene Grandi, Eugenio Finardi, and Enrico Ruggeri, and has collaborated live and in the studio with artists of the caliber of Midge Ure, Gianluca Grignani, Francesco Renga, Max Gazzè, and Neffa.
Paolo has performed in major Rai and Mediaset television productions such as “The Voice,” “Io Canto,” “Una Serata Bella…” and “Una Storia da Cantare.” In 2011, he opened the live broadcast of the Primo Maggio concert in Rome on Rai with the performance of the Italian national anthem.
GIULIANO LECIS

Giuliano Lecis is a pianist, keyboardist, and arranger with over two decades of professional experience. Since 2007, he has been a faculty member at CPM Music Institute, where he serves as Deputy Director of Education and coordinates the departments of Theory and Harmony, Ensemble Music, and Complementary Piano. His career, which began in 1998, has seen him perform as a pianist and keyboardist in orchestras and bands for numerous Rai and Mediaset television productions.
He has participated in tours with various Italian artists, often handling programming and arrangements. Besides his musical activities, Giuliano has collaborated with the magazine Strumenti Musicali, contributing articles dedicated to the piano and testing pianos and virtual instruments.
SANDRO DE BELLIS
PERCUSSIONS
Born in Milan in 1965, he soon discovered his passion for percussion, studying under Maestro Beppe Sciuto at the Conservatorio di Como. After his first gigs in Milan’s clubs, in 1987 he joined Pino Martini’s Martini Bank and soon after co-founded the band Joecool, with whom he flew to Tokyo in 1990 for the Band Explosion. With Joecool he released two albums under Polygram (1993 and 1996), later collaborating with leading Italian and international artists such as Dirotta Su Cuba, Gloria Gaynor, Mario Biondi, Donna Summer, and Fiorello, as well as joining Demo Morselli’s Orchestra on Mediaset and Rai.
In 2005 he co-founded Groove It Edizioni Musicali and later Groove It Records, while also taking on the role of artistic director at Radio Ros&Ros in Milan. Awarded the In Sound Trophy as Best Percussionist of the Year in 2008, today he channels his long experience and vibrant energy into every performance with Dire Straits Reload, where his percussion adds groove, strength, and color to the stage.
MASSIMO CEBRERO
SAXOPHONES
Massimo Cebrero began his musical studies at the “A. Vivaldi” Conservatory in Alessandria, specializing in clarinet. Later, after moving to Piacenza, he dedicated himself to the study of the saxophone, an instrument that has accompanied him in a career rich in both orchestral and studio experiences.
In 2008, Massimo founded his own band, with which he is still active on the live music scene, continuing to perform in various contexts and establishing himself in the music world.
